        • WHAT IS PVC?

        • PVC is the most widely used plastic, owing to its many applications in our everyday lives. Common examples include water bottles, milk bottles, toys, vehicle parts, interior flooring, windows and pipes.

PVC is classed as a thermoplastic: in other words, it can be modified by applying heat and then moulded into different forms, recovering its toughness and resistance after it cools.

During the polymerisation process, and in accordance with the purpose of the end product, different additives can be incorporated in order to obtain specific properties. These qualities make PVC an extremely versatile plastic, with many different uses.
